All Bundeswehr facilities are referred to as military areas. In addition to barracks and training areas, they also include all other installations, facilities and vessels of the Bundeswehr, such as Bundeswehr hospitals, Bundeswehr universities or office rooms rented by the Bundeswehr. In restricted military areas, special rules apply – not only to visitors, but also to the service members themselves. For example, restricted military areas are closed for public access. This means that they may only be entered with an access authorization. Guard personnel and security forces, such as the military police, have legal powers of intervention in these areas in order to effectively protect members and material of the Bundeswehr and allied armed forces.
This means that, as a student of HSU/UniBw H, you must always carry your student ID card when entering and staying on the premises of HSU/UniBw H.
