Representative

As a central institution, the ZWW is an organizational unit without independent legal status within the Helmut Schmidt University / University of the German Armed Forces Hamburg. The Helmut Schmidt University / University of the German Armed Forces Hamburg is a public-law institution. It is legally represented by the President, Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Klaus Beckmann.

In accordance with § 10 paragraph 3 of the German Interstate Media Services Agreement (MDStV) and § 55 paragraph 2 of the Interstate Broadcasting Treaty (RStV), the Executive Board of the ZWW is responsible for the content:
