From June 28 to 30, 2024, 15 students and alumni of our continuing education master’s program Civil-Military Interaction (MCMI) visited our campus for the event MCMImeets@HSU/UniBw H 2024. The HSU has already reported on this.
We started on Friday with fries and burgers for lunch, followed by a campus tour. For some of the students, it was their first time at HSU. We also invited Claude Bruderlein, a lecturer on global health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and senior researcher at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. He gave a lecture on „Negotiation: Building Trust in a Divided World, Managing Information Flow, Combating Misinformation, and Leveraging AI“ on Friday afternoon. Afterward, Claude Bruderlein began the second session of the course „MCMI-G-04 Cross-cultural Awareness and Conflict Mediation,“ which ended on Sunday afternoon.
It was wonderful to have our MCMI students and alumni at HSU. For some of them, it was their first time. And a special thanks to Claude Bruderlein, who traveled to Hamburg for the pitch and the course. Thank you for visiting us. It was a pleasure having you all here.
We hope to see you again next year at the next event: MCMImeets@HSU/UniBw H 2025.
