On December 13, 2024, the 11th generation of the continuing education master’s program „Military Leadership and International Security (MFIS) XI“ began at the Helmut Schmidt University/ University of the German Armed Forces Hamburg.
The 44 MFIS students were warmly welcomed during the technical enrollment by the President, Prof. Dr. Klaus Beckmann, the Executive Board of Center for Postgraduate Studies at the Helmut Schmidt University, Prof. Dr. Tobias Scheytt, the MFIS Program Director, Prof. Dr. Burkhardt Meißner, and the MFIS Module Coordinator, Herrn Prof. Dr. Stefan Bayer.
Admiral Axel Schulz, who also attended the MFIS program, welcomed the students and shared his experiences from the program via video conference.
During the technical enrollment, the students received their access credentials and explanations about the HSU services. The very next day, the first module, „Strategy in Scientific Perspective,“ began at the Führungsakademie der Bundeswehr. We are excited about the start of the 11th MFIS generation and wish the students much success in their studies.
